CIPA DIGITAL PRIVACY & CONSENT DECLARATION
1. Digital Registration and Consent
Submitting an online membership application via the CIPA Web Portal requires the disclosure of personal data as described in our Digital Privacy Policy. To complete your registration, you must explicitly agree to this consent declaration, which governs the collection, processing, and statutory synchronization of your data with the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP).
2. Account Deletion and Resignation
Initiating a resignation or deleting your account via the portal will automatically trigger the removal of your personal data from the active CIPA membership register. Please note:
- This action will immediately terminate your membership status.
- All active rights, including voting eligibility and tiered subscription benefits (Ordinary, Silver, Gold, Platinum), will be voided.
- A synchronization request will be sent to the ORPP IPPMS to update your status on the national register.
3. Data Access and Rectification
You maintain full control over your digital footprint. You can view, update, or delete your member profile and the information it contains online at any time via the Member Dashboard.
- Accuracy: Updates to your profile ensure your details remain accurate for electoral purposes.
- Rights: In accordance with the Data Protection Act (2019), you may request the correction, deletion, or blocking of specific personal data from CIPA at any time.
- Information Requests: You are entitled to request a comprehensive report regarding all data stored about you within the CIPA digital ecosystem.

5. External Links and Third-Party Portals
The CIPA website contains links to external statutory platforms, such as the ORPP Portal and eCitizen.
- Your personal data is not shared when you click these external links.
- Once you navigate away from the CIPA Web Portal, the privacy policies of the respective government operators apply. We encourage you to review the privacy terms of the Integrated Political Parties Management System (IPPMS) when verifying your status there.
